Family Slopes & Spa– Saint Gervais

Saint-Gervais is a spa resort nestled in an exceptional environment: the Mont-Blanc massif, the “Roof of Europe”. Unlike purpose-built ski stations, Saint-Gervais is a real town. It has beautiful Belle Époque architecture, a casino, boutique shopping, and a cinema.

The Le Bettex area (accessed via the main gondola from the town centre) features gentle slopes and dedicated beginner lifts that allow you to learn and practice safely. Once you get the hang of it, you can progress to long, scenic cruising blues that connect into the wider Evasion Mont-Blanc area without the intimidation of steep walls.

In addition to the hotel facilities, the thermal spa of Saint Gervais is incredible Les Thermes de Saint-Gervais, a historic thermal spa built in a 10-acre park, offering hot springs, pools, and wellness treatments. A short train ride away you also have Chamonix, which is great for a day out and also has a fab new spa (24km to Chamonix).

• Apres-ski activities – Using a pedestrian pass, Lorna can ride the gondolas to meet you guys for lunch at mid-mountain spots like the expansive terrace at La Folie Douce.  You can take the Tramway du Mont-Blanc from the resort up to the Bellevue plateau for panoramic glacier views without needing to ski.  Other activities – fat-biking, all-terrain scooter, paragliding, tobogganing runs, you can catch an ice-hockey match, and a modern Piscine de Saint-Gervais features an indoor 25m lap pool and a heated outdoor pool with a waterslide, offering a cheap (€5) and easy way to spend an afternoon splashing around with music playing. 
• 15 mins away in Megeve there is also a massive indoor climbing wall, a balneo-fitness area with indoor/outdoor heated rivers and water jets, arcade amusements and an Olympic-sized indoor ice rink.
