Day 1: Departure from London Heathrow
Day 2: Arrival in Rio de Janeiro

Day 3: Discover Copacabana - Walking Tour
On this walking tour, you will learn about the history of the neighborhood, its historical and cultural importance to the city, as well as its main attractions. Copacabana is the most famous neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro. The waves depicted on its sidewalks are a replica of the design of Lisbon’s Rocío Square and have become a kind of informal logo of the city. The tour will show you these and more curiosities, as well as historical events that had Copacabana as their backdrop. One of the highlights of the tour is the visit to the Copacabana Fort, with its beautiful view of the 4 kilometers of coastline, and to Petit Colombo, a branch of the Colombo confectionery located inside the fort.
Day 4: Christ the Redeemer Tour
Come visit Christ the Redeemer, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. By minivan, we will cross through Tijuca Forest and stop at the Visitor Center within Paineiras. This is where we take the minivan from Corcovado to reach Christ the Redeemer. We will continue to the top of Corcovado Hill to arrive at the famous attraction. With arms open to Guanabara Bay, the Christ statue is a work of art that cannot be compared to anything else. You can sit on the steps in front of Christ to take the famous photo with the statue. Don’t miss the opportunity to take pictures of the city from there as well.
Day 5: Historical Tour of Rio de Janeiro
Immerse yourself in the past of Rio de Janeiro. Travel through time from the discovery of Brazil, through the arrival of the royal family, the country's independence, and the proclamation of the republic. Learn about the historical past of the city of Rio de Janeiro, which was once the capital of Brazil for almost two centuries, by taking a walk through the city center that holds memories of different eras. Also, notice the contrast with the new Mauá Square, a gift from the Olympic legacy that has changed the lives of Cariocas forever, creating a new hub of entertainment and culture, hosting two new museums, the Rio Art Museum and the Museum of Tomorrow, and the famous Cobra murals. You can identify the different periods just by looking at the architecture in the center: colonial, imperial, and republican.
Day 6: Enjoy Rio de Janeiro - Samba School Rehearsal
Enjoy all the energy of Rio's Carnival on an exciting night. You will attend a rehearsal of a samba school. Samba schools start their carnival rehearsals early. They need to compose the music, create and practice the dances, and design costumes and floats. You will take advantage of this time to see the creative process of the great samba schools and enjoy all the charm of a samba school rehearsal. In this way, we become part of the spirit and magic behind Rio's Carnival! Each school has a different rehearsal start time. Enjoy this "behind the scene" of the Carnival experience.
Day 7: Crazy for Soccer
Maracanã and Flamengo Tour Spend a day in Rio de Janeiro visiting the Maracanã Stadium and the headquarters of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo on the Gávea Tour. Enter Maracanã Stadium and explore the behind-the-scenes areas of Brazil's most important football stadium. You will see the collection of historical objects related to key moments, matches, and players at the stadium. Discover the changing rooms, the warm-up room, the press room, and the playing field area. Take the opportunity to take a photo next to the field, on the substitutes' bench, or in the fans' section. Next, head to the headquarters of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, located next to Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, for the Gávea Tour. The Gávea Tour is the chance to explore the main areas of Flamengo, Brazil's most popular football team. Visit the basketball/volleyball gym, football stadium, gymnastics area, and the water park..
Day 8: Exploring Angra Dos Reis and Ilha Grande in full day tour
Discover the tropical paradise of Angra dos Reis and Ilha Grande, where stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, and lush landscapes await you on a full-day group tour from Rio de Janeiro. Relax on the white sandy shores, dive into vibrant coral reefs, and observe the rich marine life, including colorful tropical fish, during a peaceful schooner ride. Rent scuba gear if you want to get a closer look beneath the ocean’s surface. Day 9: Tijuca Forest and Botanical Garden
Enjoy the natural diversity of Rio de Janeiro. Start your walk at the Botanical Garden and visit the Sensory Garden, the Pau-Brasil tree (the tree that gives the country its name), the Turtle Lake, and the lake with giant water lilies (Victória-Régia). Walk among the centuries-old imperial palm trees as you make your way to the orchid and bromeliad house. Next, visit the viewpoint at Vista Chinesa and enjoy a panoramic view of Rio de Janeiro with mountains, forests, and ocean at 388 meters above sea level. In the distance, also see Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain. Continue for an adventure in Tijuca National Forest, one of the largest urban forests in the world. Observe the Taunay Waterfall and take a low-intensity trail while learning more about the Atlantic Forest, its flora, and fauna. Return to the vehicle and pass by the famous Sao Conrado Beach to watch paragliders and hang gliders.
Day 10: Explore the AquaRio Aquarium, the Museum of Tomorrow, and the Olympic Boulevard - Half-Day Tour, 3 stops
AquaRio. Dive into the wonders of AquaRio, home to 8,000 animals from 350 different species, including magnificent sharks, graceful rays, and vibrant fish. Experience the thrill of walking through the Oceanic and Diving Enclosures, where you'll marvel at marine life in its natural habitat.
